Our Pricing Policy

Let’s Work Together - Clear and Straightforward Billing and Collection Information from the Start

The initial service call is $320.00 minus applicable discounts. This price covers travel time to the property, vehicle expenses (wear and tear of commercial vehicle, gas, and others), and initial diagnostic time. The applicable discounts will vary depending on the property's location. An additional discount of 5% applies to all cash, check, or Zelle payments, but it will not apply to credit card or PayPal payments. Our services are “Due Upon Receipt” and are, therefore, payable at the moment of our visit. No third-party checks or credit cards are accepted (Government-issued I.D. is required for checks or credit card payments). Credit cards that do not swipe or credit cards with unreadable chips will not be accepted, and customers should be ready to use another form of payment. All checks must have the issuer’s complete information printed, including full name, address, and phone number.
Once on the property, we will provide the customer with an initial diagnostic and a repair price. This price includes the basic service call plus the labor, parts, and/or materials to correct the initial problem. If the customer declines the repair, all the customer owes is the initial service call (minus applicable discounts), and we expect immediate payment. If the customer authorizes the repair, the initial service call is free, as this price includes the initial diagnostic and repair price.
Once the system is restarted or the initial issue is resolved, we will continue to check and troubleshoot. In most cases, the initial repair should resolve the issue, eliminating the need for additional work. However, we will promptly inform the customer of the associated price if we identify any supplementary repairs needed or recommended. It's important to note that the price for any extra work is subject to a $260.00 discount, which is only applicable if the additional work is approved during our visit. This discount will not apply if the customer declines the additional work or if we need to return for a second repair unrelated to the initial diagnostic and repair.
We reserve the right to unilaterally adjust our rates and pricing policy based on the conditions of the work and the customer's specific demands or requirements:
⦁    Emergency and Off-Hours Service: Add a minimum of 50%. This includes visits scheduled after 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Weekends or Holidays.
⦁    Any electrical job on equipment without a disconnect box (as required by current F.B.C. and N.E.C.) is to have a minimum overcharge of $120ºº. Likewise, any service requiring a ladder equal to or greater than 15', or ladders not at ground level, will have a minimum $75ºº overcharge for each visit.
⦁    Other factors that may affect our rates and pricing policy are:
⦁    Urgency, appointment time flexibility, the time allowed for the visit, diagnostic and repair
⦁    Parking availability
⦁    Access restrictions to the property (such as H.O.A. visiting hours regulations, license and insurance requirements), availability of key to access the premises, access blockage to the equipment, breaker panels, and others, of or any other restrictions which may attempt against a quick and fluid to the property and the equipment.
⦁    Customers with current Service Agreement Programs will have a discount on Listed Prices, depending on the Chosen Plan.
Special pricing cases:
⦁    Refrigerant leaks: if a refrigerant leak is suspected, we will provide customers with alternatives, as the final price of the repair will vary greatly, depending on the severity, nature, and location of the leak, as well as the manufacturer's part warranty (active or prescribed). In many cases, recharging the system will restore its functionality and performance for some time, but it will most likely require additional recharges. The amount of refrigerant added to the system will significantly impact the repair price and the customer's decision to have a leak sealant + UV dye additive injected into the system.
⦁    Condensate issues: When you request service for a condensate issue, we take a comprehensive approach. This typically includes condensate drain line flushing, main condensate drain pan cleaning, and a visual inspection of the evaporator coil. We will then report our findings to you, ensuring that you are fully informed about the state of your system.
⦁    Compressors and special motors (ECM or similar), evaporator or condensing coils, circuit boards, and other unique parts: we keep our trucks well stocked with the most common repair parts. However, it is impractical and economically unfeasible to stock our vehicles with every part required for a repair. Suppose a service call requires such a part. In that case, we will make any effort to procure, deliver, and replace this part within a 24-hour period, assuming the part is available at any of the local supply houses in the area. These cases will not generate an additional service call cost, as the gross margins we estimate for these parts already account for the travel time and expenses incurred to procure the part.
⦁    Suspected presence of Microbiological growth: Microbial growth, often referred to as mildew or mold, is a family of fungi commonly found both indoors and outdoors. Microbial growth indoors occurs when high humidity or moisture, low sunlight, oxygen, the right temperature, and organic matter are present. Refri-Xpertise® will price these repairs depending on the hours required to diagnose and correct the issue, plus the cost of any special external services (such as Microbiological Testing Services and work by other trades  such as plumbers, sheetrock replacement, any others)
⦁    System replacements: These services will be quoted separately on a case-by-case basis.
